1. Agreeing to these terms

These Terms are an agreement between GearMX, Inc. ("GearMX," "we," or "us"), operator of StreamingSchools.com, and the adult using or authorizing the service. By selecting Enter or Present Pass, the responsible adult, school, or organization accepts these Terms and acknowledges the Privacy & Safety Notice. If you do not agree, do not enter. Younger visitors participate through an authorized adult, school, or organization.

2. World Passes and access

A World Pass or invitation is permission to use only the places and time it covers. Keep it within its intended group; do not sell or publish it. Access is revocable, may expire, and creates no ownership or public visitor account. Do not bypass the Front Gate, probe security, impersonate anyone, automate access without permission, or disrupt the service.

3. Be a good creative-world neighbor

Do not harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, discriminate, invade privacy, break the law, introduce malicious code, or share sexual, violent, hateful, or harmful material. Do not reveal private information or record a live interaction without every required permission. Adults and organizations are responsible for appropriate supervision, permissions, and their participants’ use.

4. Your creations

You keep your rights in original work. You promise anything you upload, perform, display, or share is yours to use and does not violate another person’s rights. You give GearMX a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, technically adapt, and display it only to operate the service and honor your sharing choices. The license ends when it leaves active systems, except for reasonable backup, legal, and security retention.

5. Privacy, devices, and outside services

Our Privacy & Safety Notice explains information practices and choices. You are responsible for device permissions, downloads, locally saved work, and permission to share someone else’s image, voice, performance, or personal information. Some features rely on providers whose applicable terms and policies also apply.

6. Our service and materials

StreamingSchools.com, its software, visual world, branding, and provided materials belong to GearMX or its licensors. You receive only a limited, nontransferable right to use the service as intended. We may change or pause features, revoke unsafe or unauthorized access, and remove material that violates these Terms or creates risk.

7. Disclaimers and limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation, perfect security, preservation of every creation, or suitability for a particular educational, creative, or technical purpose. Keep independent copies of work that matters.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GearMX and its officers, employees, contractors, and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill. Their total service-related liability will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount paid for the affected service during the preceding 12 months. These limits apply only where allowed.

8. Responsibility for claims

To the fullest extent permitted by law, each responsible adult, school, or organization—not a minor participant—will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GearMX and its team from third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from that party’s unlawful use, content, permissions, breach, or violation of another person’s rights. GearMX will give reasonable notice and may participate in the defense.

9. Illinois law and the whole agreement

Illinois law governs these Terms, without its conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Cook County, Illinois have exclusive jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise. These Terms and the Privacy & Safety Notice are the complete agreement about the service. If one part is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Delayed enforcement is not a waiver.

10. Updates and contact

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will post the revision and effective date and give any notice required by law.
